3. Second Place: U2000 Ming Zhang (winner of U1850 last year)

4. Semi-final: U2300 doubles Pat Castro/Mark Johnson

5. Semi-final: Open Doubles Ming Zhang/Bruce H. Liu (Upset two higher rated teams, 150 and 900 points, respectively)

   I think Ming is the tournament MVP for Milpitas Sports Center. He got a game from a 2500 player. He had an awesome final with an obvious sandbagger in the final of U2000. His opponent also made the semi-final in U2350.
